This section captures the voices of those who fought against the airborne and Ranger troops of WWII.  Its' objective is to gain a greater understanding of the airborne and Ranger experience during WWII by interviewing the other side. It is not meant to glorify or enhance their image or promote any political views.

A Scrapbook of Doomed Youth
The following photos were requisitioned from the cameras of killed enemy soldiers by PFC Chet Nycum, a scout with the 503^rd RCT. These pictures are published for historical purposes and with the hope that they may help clarify, for the families, the fate of their loved ones as well as showing the very human, unseen, and individual nature of war from Japan's citizen soldiers.
