A Scrapbook of Doomed Youth
The following photos were requisitioned from
the cameras of killed enemy soldiers by PFC Chet Nycum,
a scout with the 503rd RCT. These pictures are published for historical
purposes and with the hope that they may help clarify, for the families, the fate of their
loved ones as well as showing the very human, unseen, and individual nature of war from
Japan's citizen soldiers.
